What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent eyebrow makeup is a cosmetic procedure where pigment is deposited into the upper layer of the dermis to create the effect of naturally shaped brows. Despite the name, this is not a tattoo and the results are not lifelong. The pigment is placed shallowly and fades gradually over time.
Ombre brows are a semi-permanent makeup technique that mimics the look of soft makeup — a more defined tail with a gentle fade toward the front of the brow. This technique suits everyone, regardless of skin type or face shape, and offers a very natural-looking result.
The results typically last 1 to 3 years, depending on lifestyle, skincare routine, metabolism, and other individual factors. Over time, the color fades softly without harsh borders or unwanted tones.
Touch-up is required
To ensure lasting and even results, a mandatory touch-up is required 4–8 weeks after the initial procedure. This isn’t just a recommendation — it’s an essential part of the process. During the touch-up
• the shape can be adjusted if it has slightly changed during healing;
• the color is reinforced and stabilized;
• any areas where pigment has faded unevenly can be corrected.
Without this second session, the result may be incomplete or inconsistent.
How is the procedure performed?
Before the procedure, we start with a consultation to analyze your facial structure, brow shape, skin type, and overall color tone. Then, I create a custom brow shape using brow mapping, so you can approve the design in advance.
After applying a numbing agent, pigment is gently implanted using a professional permanent makeup machine and a single-use cartridge. The work is performed delicately, without damaging the skin, and only within the upper dermal layer.
Pigments and Colors
I use high-quality, certified pigments specifically formulated for permanent makeup. These pigments are designed to fade gradually and naturally over time, without shifting into unwanted tones like blue, gray, red, or purple.
Each pigment is carefully selected and customized to match your unique skin undertone and facial features, ensuring that the healed result looks soft, balanced, and natural.
The pigments I work with are known for their stable healing process and clean fading, which means no harsh outlines or unexpected color changes as they lighten over time.
